
Chippokes Farm & Forestry Museum
The Museum explores the life of the Virginia farmer. Discover how tools, techniques, and crops have changed over time in five exhibit halls. Farming has always relied on the skills of blacksmiths, coopers, cobblers, and more. Learn about domestic farm life through exhibits and imagine what it might have been like to grow up here. The museum is open to the public most days, although inclement weather may affect the schedule.
The museum is located within Chippokes State Park which has a visitor center, gift shop, and restroom facilities throughout the park.
A $7.00 per vehicle parking fee is required. The park is open from dawn to dusk year-round. Closed on Christmas Day.
