Celebrate St. Francis Day with a Blessing of the Animals at St. Luke’s Church on October 4 from 10 am to 4 pm. The event will also offer special activities including:
10 am – 11 am: Special Organ Music with Elsa Bakkum
11 am – 12 pm: Reading of the Lili storybook from author Fran Olsen and Artist Buttons Boggs
12 noon: St. Francis Day Homilies with Rev. John Ericson from Reformation Lutheran Church, Rev. Todd DeLaney from Christ Episcopal Church, and Rev. Ileana Rosario from Benns United Methodist Church.
The animal blessings will commence at 12:45 pm, followed by a live minature Petting Zoo from 1 to 3 pm.
