A third-generation family farm, Organic Roots Farm is in transition to regenerative organic production on their 22 acres of berries, fruit and nut trees all integrated with pastured egg laying chickens. Join us to learn about the planning, design, installation and marketing of Organic Roots Farm produce and their model for production.
The orchard is designed as a park setting allowing visitors to exercise their bodies as they breathe fresh air and pick their own food. Focusing on agritourism, education and community spaces, Organic Roots also has an on-farm store where they market their own farm products as well as those from other farmers in their community.
Lunch will be provided, making flatbread on-farm and using fruits and other products from Organic Roots Farm.
