Bacon’s Castle Supply

Owned and operated by John Brock, a third-generation farmer in Surry County, Bacon’s Castle Supply offers extra-large, fancy peanuts that are planted each year in May, harvested in October, and proudly wear the label “Bacon’s Castle Peanuts.” This small shop on Route 10 offers its branded peanut products as well as other locally made fresh food products. At the right time of year, guests to the shop can watch peanuts being processed.
Peanuts, whole Country hams, sliced hams, smoked meats, June cheese, and assorted old-fashioned goodies can be found in this quaint little shop. Peanuts are processed on-site on random days.
Open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
